Movie Star Coburn finds a cure for arthritis in BURY
by John Mahoney
Actor James Coburn star of The Magnificent Seven, is riding tall in the saddle again after getting his arthritis cured - in BURY.

He headed straight for the Lancashire town, famous for its black puddings, where medical scientist Evans Rapsomanikis runs a clinic.

And now Coburn, 67, is fighting fit again. He says Evans's £30-an-hour treatments have done the trick.

Coburn and his wife Paula, pictured above with Evans, jetted 6,000 miles from Los Angeles for secret visits to the Stoneholme Bio-physical Clinic in Bury High Street.

"The people of Bury are lucky they have a man like Evans. He is at the forefront of medical history," says the actor.

Genius

"They should be proud they have such a pioneer in the town. He is truly a great man.

"Using this therapy for a few hours here and there has arrested my arthritis, and it has stopped its progression.

"I would encourage sufferers from all over the world to see this man. He is a genius." Evans's revolutionary therapy strengthens the body's immune system to fight off viral infections like arthritis and ME (Yuppy 'flu).

Coburn used to attend sessions at a clinic in Los Angeles run by Corfu-born Evans, 81.

But the pioneer, who creates electro-magnetic energy to boost the body system, now spends most of his time in England.

He is opening a clinic in London, but mainly works from his original base in Bury.

He said: "James is very supportive of my work.

"Whenever he is in this country we get together.

"He visits quite often on business and we meet up."
